03/23/13 (Saturday) - Arrival Day & Welcome Dinner

Arrive at Honolulu Airport and we'll provide transportation downtown to our group hotel, the Ohaha East. Feel free to relax and enjoy the afternoon before we meet up for a group dinner at a local restaurant. We'll enjoy some time getting to know each other.

03/24/13 (Sunday) - Hanauma Bay

This morning we'll venture out to Hanauma Bay, declared a protected marine life conservation area and underwater park in 1967. This is the best protected cove if you are new to scuba diving or snorkeling with a diverse population of marine life and a large, rich coral reef. Advanced snorkelers and divers can also enjoy the beauty of this bay as the reef extends throughout the cove into deeper water. The bay floor is actually the crater of an ancient volcano that flooded when the exterior wall collapsed and the ocean rushed in.

There is a large sandy beach perfect for sunbathing, relaxing and picnicking. Several hiking trails extend along the coastline and along the ridge overlooking the bay providing breathtaking lookouts.

03/25/13 (Monday) - Diamond Head & Manoa Falls

Today we'll hike Diamond Head, the most famous volcanic crater in the world. At the summit, you'll see bunkers and a huge navigational lighthouse built in 1917. The postcard view of the shoreline from Koko Head to Wai'anae is stunning.

Before returning back to the hotel, we'll make a stop in the Manoa Valley. We'll hike through a beautiful rainforest on our way to Manoa Falls, a spectacular waterfall that tumbles down a near vertical cliff for approximately 150 feet into a small pool.

03/26/13 (Tuesday) - FREE DAY!!!

Use this day to venture out and explore the island. Get together with some of your newly made friends and enjoy all the attractions and activities that Oahu offers.

03/27/13 (Wednesday) - Pearl Harbor

This early morning's journey will find our group visiting Pearl Harbor. We'll watch an informative 23 minute documentary film on the Pearl Harbor attack and have a chance to visit the USS Arizona War Memorial. This attraction is accessible only by boat and it crosses above the middle of the sunken hull of the battleship without touching it.

Coming back into town, we'll pass by many famous Waikiki sights before our return to the group hotel.

03/28/13 (Thursday) - Waikiki Beach Day & Optional Sunset Catamaran Tour

Join the group as we enjoy the soft tropical sands of Waikiki Beach and swim in the gentle waves of the ocean. We'll have a group area set up so you'll be free to come and go as you please.

Tonight is an optional tour for $65 per person. We'll enjoy an amazing Catamaran Sunset Tour aboard the Makani Catamaran. Enjoy sailing along the Hawaiian coast and enjoy the spirit of the ocean and the breathtaking views of the island as the Polynesians did many years ago. Let 20 year veteran, Captain Jon Jepson, help create memories as we sail along the shores of Oahu where we are often greeted by dolphins, flying fish, and sea turtles. Watch as the sun sets spectacularly upon the horizon. Our sail will include a light dinner as well as two complimentary drinks. There is a full cash bar available for those that wish to indulge some more.

03/29/13 (Friday) - Hawaiian Luau

Tonight we'll go local as we enjoy a traditional luau at Paradise Cove. We'll board a bus on the one hour journey out to the festivities. Upon arrival, we'll be greeted with a shell lei and a Mai Tai. We'll then have a chance to see tradtional arts & crafts demonstrations as well as enjoy such activities as the Royal Court procession and the Imu Ceremony.

We'll proceed to a bountiful buffet dinner featuring a salad bar, pasta salad, poi, lomi lomi salmon, fried chicken, island fish, kalua pig, and much more.

Fianlly, with the most spectacular Hawaiian sunset as a backdrop, the Paradise Cove Main Stage explodes with the beauty and excitement of the traditional songs and dances of Hawai'i and Polynesia. Their award-winning dancers will entertain and amaze us with a performance that is as unforgettable as the perfect setting of Paradise Cove itself.
